The 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships will not take place in Nice

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announces that the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships will not take place as planned in Nice (France) on 18 October.

The UCI and the City of Nice acknowledged the difficulties of organising the event in the capital of the French Riviera on that date, and in view of various constraints, technical and regarding the calendar, it was mutually agreed not to organise the 4th edition of the UCI worlds for gravel in Nice.

The UCI is currently studying various options to find a new organiser and a new venue. These, along with the date for the event, will be announced as soon as possible.

Les Championnats du Monde Gravel UCI 2025 ne se dérouleront pas à Nice

L’Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) annonce que les Championnats du Monde Gravel UCI 2025 ne se dérouleront pas comme prévu à Nice (France) le 18 octobre prochain.

L’UCI et la Ville de Nice ont convenu des difficultés d’organiser l’événement dans la capitale azuréenne à cette date, et face aux différentes contraintes, techniques et de calendrier, il a été décidé d’un commun accord de renoncer à l’organisation à Nice de la 4e édition des Mondiaux UCI de gravel.

L’UCI étudie actuellement différentes pistes pour trouver un nouvel organisateur et un nouveau lieu de compétition. Ces derniers ainsi que la date de l’événement seront communiqués dès que possible.
